Using Blender
Goal
First experiments with creating a locomotive model using Blender show the modeling of 3D models is a rather effort prone undertaking.
To have a comparison, this project shall develop one or two VERY simple X3D models and integrate them into our homepage.
Some tests shall be done, whether .stl or .x3d files are better suited for 3D printing.
However, since these goals deviate from the original projecct, is is suggested to start a new project, which shall provide a kind of final conclusion.
