The Society

General

This society was founded during the spring and summer of the year 2023.

As a pre-view about our emerging way of operations, please consider following statements

• We are a non-profit organization. In a nutshell, this means
  1. We do not have customers, who could influence our way of operation
  2. It's the members that decide, what we will do
  3. We do not support you, but we ask for your support
• Currently, we are dedicated to Web3D Graphics and their applications in the Internet (this may change in some future)
  1. In particular, we are dedicated to 3D Multiuser Scenes (this may change in some future, too)
  2. and there we are dedicated to the application of the SIP protocol (also this may change in some future)

Projects

The work at The Society is "project driven". That means: If a member comes with an idea and maybe convinces other members to help with this idea, then the General Assembly (GA) will confirm these ideas in most cases.

These projects are being considered at The Society.

Collaboration Tools for Testing

According to our statutes, The Society shall endeavor to create, test and disseminate evidence-based knowledge about agreed collaboration tools.

The members may use the blackboard to publish any information that is in relation to these purposes of The Society.
